Kenneth P. Shabel
Kenneth Shabel is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he earned a B.A. in both Communications Studies and English. He received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Mercer University and the Walter F. George School of Law. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1998.
After two years working for South Carolina Legal Services, Kenneth became the lead attorney for Spartanburg County Department of Social Services, where he served for over five years. He entered private practice in 2006 and was a partner in the firm of Campbell & Shabel for ten years before joining Kennedy & Brannon in March of 2016.
Kenneth is a Certified Mediator and Guardian ad Litem. In addition to his Family Court practice, he also has an extensive Probate and Estate Planning practice.
Kenneth is a life-long resident of Greenville. He lives with his wife Emelyn and is the proud father of Delaney and Logan.
